meet cyndi

Recently, while flipping through my high school yearbook, two things stood out to me about my senior class photo: tragic hair – way too much use of the curling iron (but hey – it was the 80′s) and I’d forgotten having listed my career aspiration as “professional photographer”.

It took nearly 30 years for me to realize that dream and life got in the way a bunch of times, but here I am today doing what I love.  I specialize in pets because they live in the moment and I want my photography to capture those moments.  Pets have no ego, they don’t worry if I’ve captured their best side, aren’t concerned with their hair or outfits – they just run, play with abandon and smile.

It makes my day to hear clients remark that I captured the essence of their pet.  Ansel Adams said it best:

“A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed.”
